Kay Wunderlich, MSN, APRN, FNP-C Founder & Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner Kay is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner with a lifelong passion for helping others feel their best—mind, body, and soul. Her healthcare journey began in 2005 as a patient care technician, and in 2010 she became a certified CNA. That same year, she began working full time at Barnes-Jewish Hospital (BJC), where she remained throughout nursing school—juggling full-time work, full-time studies, and motherhood with unwavering determination. As a devoted mom, Kay was deeply committed to setting an example of resilience, compassion, and hard work for her daughter. Kay became a registered nurse in 2017, building her clinical experience across hospital, home health, and long-term care settings. She spent over a decade at BJC, two years at Mercy Hospital, and served on the front lines in New Jersey/ New York as a travel nurse during the COVID-19 pandemic. Since becoming a Nurse Practitioner in 2021, Kay has dedicated her career to both primary care—currently practicing with UnitedHealthcare Optum—and aesthetic medicine, where she brings over five years of hands-on experience. She is known for her gentle touch, natural results, and dedication to continual learning and growth. Kay founded Wunder Aesthetics & Wellness to help others glow from the inside out. She believes that true beauty starts within, and her mission is to guide each client toward greater confidence, health, and well-being.
